What is God saying?
God's abilities are far beyond our comprehension, so His followers should partner with Him - which will bring Him glory.
What is God saying to us today?
Have you ever tried to think of something that you can't imagine? It's impossible by definition! So, this passage is saying that God literally can do the impossible. Yet so often we try to limit God to only doing possible things (at least what we imagine is possible for Him). The key here though seems to be that God has to work in us in order for Him to do the impossible. Actually God doesn't need us to do impossible things, but He voluntarily connects His use of power to being in a relationship with us! Our infinite God choose to use those of us finite humans who are connected to Him to accomplish the impossible. This is not only humbling for us, but glorifying for God!
What is God inviting us to do?
How would like to do something impossible? God invites us to open our hearts to Him, to allow His power to work in us, so that we can do things that we couldn't even imagine without Him.
