What is God saying?
Trusting in God provides true peace.
What is God saying to us today?
Many things promise to provide us with peace - alarm systems, insurance packages, spa treatments - but they don't provide true peace. We trust that the alarm will work when an intruder enters or the insurance company will pay our claim, but there is always a worry or fear that these things will let us down in our time of need. Sometimes we think the same about God, after all Satan works hard at getting us to distrust God - that's what He did to Adam and Eve and hasn't stopped since. But Scripture is clear that we can trust God without a second thought, because He is working for our ultimate good!
What is God inviting us to do?
What do you depend on to bring you peace? God invites us to trust Him completely, and when we do we will find a truly deep and abiding peace.
