What is God saying?
God is a never-ending source of mercy and love. Because He is faithful to us, we can wake up each day with a fresh start.
What is God saying to us today?
In our world, getting a second chance is rare. A third chance is is even more uncommon. A fourth chance is almost unheard of. We lose our job for a minor error. We don't get accepted to a program, because we missed a deadline. We get dumped because of a misunderstanding. We might plead for a second chance, only to hear words along the lines of "Sorry, but this is our policy. If we bent the rules for you, then everyone would just take advantage of us." But the good news about God is that He has no such policy or limit. Even if we feel we've used up every single one of our chances, He promises that we can start over with a blank slate every day.
What is God inviting us to do?
Do you feel that you are almost running out of second chances? God invites us to be assured that there is no end to His love or His grace. We don't have to worry about all the times we have been unfaithful to Him, because He remains faithful to us!
