In a world that is starved for peace God provides us with a peace that goes beyond our comprehension. In fact, it is a supernatural peace. It is a peace that comes from knowing that God is not only at work in the natural world, He is working supernaturally for our eternal salvation. Even though God's followers do experience trouble and pain in this life, we can have peace in the middle of our problems because we know that there is more to our existence - much more. And this peace that we have no matter what happens, keeps our hearts and minds focused on Jesus, because we know if we lose sight of Him, we lose our peace as well.
