What is God saying?
Because God saves us, we can live without fear as we are strengthened by Him.
What is God saying to us today?
When we know the end of a story, the suspense, tension, and anxiety are removed when we go back and hear the story again. Actually research has shown that people enjoy books more when the end has been “spoiled” because they don’t have to worry or stress about the various characters. In the same way, if we knew that a check for $1 billion was coming tomorrow, we wouldn’t worry about money today. God promises that that check is coming, but it’s not for any amount of money, but for something even better - eternal life!
What is God inviting us to do?
What difference does knowing you are saved make in your life? God invites us to lose our fear to the point where we can sing in happy confidence that we have eternal life!
